Sending electronic newsletters to customers is a great way to build a relationship and promote a product. You may be scratching your head wondering where to begin with your e-mail marketing campaign.

  1. Share useful information – People are always looking for new information to share with friends, especially information that is unique. Be sure to share with your readers useful and interesting information.
  2. Be their friend, not their pest – Everyone with an inbox knows all too well that spam is annoying. Don’t be a pest and send them spam, send them useful or friendly information. Take note of their birthday month and send them a birthday note. Remove the gap between customer and employee and make it more of a friendship.
  3. Visuals are key – Let’s face it, we will read text written over a graphic. Graphics are more appealing and will grab your attention versus lines of words. If there is a point you really want to make clear to your consumers, put it in a visual format. Infographics work great too!
