Twitter Background Musts
Your Twitter background is the core of your Profile’s marketing efforts. If using your account for business (vs. personal) use, a template background is just not enough. Specifically, you must have a custom background that integrates these 4 features:
- Company name
- Description of business
– can be in sentence form, an ad slogan, or as a keyword-style list of terms - Branding elements
– ie. logo, product image, photo of store location
– be consistent with the colors/theme of your website and other promo materials - Contact information
– business address, URL, blog, email address, Facebook or LinkedIn profile URL
Note: Place the above elements to the left of your Profile page. The right side must be limited to non-essential graphic elements, as this space is invisible at some screen resolutions.
